Vascular epiphytes in urban trees in Goiânia city, Brazilian Cerrado

The objective of this study was to evaluate the presence epiphyte species in trees that compose urban four avenues Goiânia city – state Goiás. All individuals from avenue median and sidewalks were quantified, all host inventoried epiphytes found evaluated qualitatively quantitatively. Ficus rubiginosa present 68.63% cases, followed by luschnathiana (15.69%), insipida (5.88%) guaranitica (5.88%). A total 84.62% hosts are Poincianella pluviosa, 51.92% height between 14 16 meters 35.29% have a diameter 46.00 61.99 cm. hemiepiphytes occurred on Libidibia ferrea, Ceiba speciosa, Albizia lebbeck Pachira aquatica. occurrence prevailed trunk bifurcations (44.23%), branch bifurcation (19.23%), hollows (17.31%) branches roots (3.85%). About 15.65% each adult arboreal is inferred hold at least one epiphyte.
